Gaucho Grill The Gaucho is a man who cherishes simple pleasures and considers the Pampas his friend. Founded in October 1987 by Argentinian native Adolfo Suaya, Gaucho Grill now has 7 locations that provide great tasting, affordable Argentine-style cuisine. Adolfo had originally come to the California to pursue a film career in 1985. One day after film school in 1987, Adolfo had a craving for Argentine home cooking. He thought of the shopping center on Sunset and Laurel next to the Director's Guild that he passed every day with a "For Lease" sign. An idea was born. After several months of painstaking work to realize his vision, Adolfo opened the first Gaucho Grill. A year later a second one was opened
